Nestled along the shores of the Bosphorus, Beylerbeyi Palace is an important Istanbul landmark. Stepping inside transports you into the glorious history of the Ottoman Empire. The palace once hosted foreign state guests and remains steeped in the charm of its past.
A summer palace stood here during the reign of Mahmud II, but fell into disuse after a fire in 1851 and was demolished under Abdulaziz. Construction of the present palace began in 1863 and was completed in 1864, with its official opening in 1865. In 1925 it came under the Presidency of National Palaces, leaving an indelible mark on modern Turkish history.
Today the palace welcomes visitors as a museum, offering a glimpse into the Ottoman Empire’s glorious past. Book your tickets now and explore with your multilingual audio guide.
